Education was the only way to attain a level where he could lend a hand to the ones who needed it the most. He opted for pre-med in his high school and graduated as MBBS from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore. Ever since the days of his medical graduation, he had an immense inclination towards helping the poor and the underprivileged. He used to offer volunteer services to the patients throughout his graduation and internship years. At the back of mind, he had always dreamt of serving the health care system of Pakistan. The venture of a Cardiac Hospital in the vicinity of his ancestral city in a consequence of his early life dreaming.
After accomplishing his medical graduation from Allama Iqbal Medical College, soon he flew to the United States after getting through the mandatory examinations. Being Pakistani has always enriched Dr.Ahmad as a person and cultivated his career and life in the United States of America. IN his own words:
I feel not only immensely proud of being an empowered Pakistani but I also feel a burden to empower my community in this foreign land. I came to this land with nothing and started from scratch and Allah Almighty just blessed me with strength and luck to succeed. What this success and power have brought to me is an obligation to serve the name of my country. I have always been conscious of the misrepresentation or no representation of Pakistanis on the American political forefronts. There are communal voices of course but they reside to mere cultural representations or celebrations. We, as positive contributors of the American system, owe an audible political voice which can represent our community. Running a smooth and peaceful career and life is what we all do but in this moment of chaos, everyone needs to wake up and contribute for the sake of generations’ s future. Standing here, this moment, what I am bearing is boundless joy, enormous gratitude as well as a huge responsibility to carry forward this dignified venture.
Dr Ahmad is the first person to trace out that Political recognition by proactive engagement of the democratic institutions and transforming the unaccounted for communities into a strong voice is the only way to touch the fringes of democracy and access the chords of public rights. A democratic vision is inconceivable without the commensurate coalition of our community with other minorities and groups that share our values and concerns. This political coherence can ensure the civil and immigrant rights. Only Political approval or disapproval can make the difference to policymakers and hence certify the equal rights for all.
APPAC endeavours to bring the communal voice of Pakistani minority to the political fronts. We also anticipate the process of electioneering as an indispensable means to support the political emergence of our own inclination. We envisage the support of our own as well other communities who incline to raise the voice of equality. There is a mindful assimilation in the political voices raised by all minorities in the midst of this chaotic political and social scenario. APPAC, being the major representative of all Pakistani community in the United States, intends to join the communal voice against this oppression and suppression. Voices against inequality and injustice should be raised with the force of equality. We appreciate the pivotal and tangible amount of protest by your organization/committee and look forward to being a conducive supporter of your cause.
In the current surge of political design, he envisioned a joint enterprise of the representations of all minorities in order to be echoed louder. It would be far more efficacious to work and voice in collaboration than in seclusions. He feels immensely honoured to commend the membership for paving the way for variation and transformation within the body of organization which he believes is instrumental and catalytic for the evolvement in near future. At this juncture of time, there is no denying of the fact that preserving statuesque and stair climbing by giving way to mediocrity and political compromises are, by all means, futile.
He vehemently competes against any room for those who promote divisive philosophy for petty political gains among Pakistani lineage.
As a continuity of his and his father’s dream to establish a serving hospital in the most localized and deprived sort of neighbourhood. Allah Almighty blessed him with the vision and capacity to furnish the reality of this dream. Hussain Bibi Memorial Foundation is a vivacious project, aiming to cater the plight of the lot who don’t have access to quality healthcare.
Dr Ahmad has been and will continue performing commendable tasks which will prove fruitful and advantageous to the generations to come.
